Most travel sites tell you where to go, then mention visa as a footnote. NoMadYa flips it: pick your passport first, then trip-plan around what you can actually enter. Hand-verified by Afthab, 15 countries deep.

Vietnam, my first abroad

Visa-on-arrival turned visa-free in 2024, so this plan got cheaper to copy. Day-by-day breakdown of how I went from "never abroad" to confidently routing Hanoi → Hoi An → Saigon with a real budget.

Kazakhstan, the Kolsai gamble

Almost no English-language content exists on Kazakhstan for Indian travelers. Visa-free since 2024, mountains 3 hours from Almaty, and total costs that undercut Goa in winter.

Frequently asked

Common questions about NoMadYa.

What is NoMadYa?

NoMadYa is an AI trip planner built specifically for Indian passport holders. It generates verified day-by-day itineraries in 60 seconds using advanced AI, with realistic 2026 INR costs, accurate visa info, and per-day insider tips. Built by Afthab, a Chennai-based software engineer who has visited 15 destinations across 7 multi-country trips.

How is NoMadYa different from ChatGPT or generic AI travel planners?

Three differences: (1) Visa rules and INR costs are kept current to 2026, not 2021 training data; (2) Afthab personally verifies plans and marks them with a 'Real Trip' or 'Verified' stamp; (3) Multi-country routing (Japan + Taiwan + Korea, for instance) is enforced, the AI can't quietly drop a country like generic chatbots do.

Is NoMadYa free?

Yes, 2 free plans per day for anonymous users, 8 plans per day after a one-click magic-link sign-in. No credit card. Affiliate links on the booking essentials section pay the bills; you pay the same price either way.

Which countries are visa-free for Indian passport in 2026?

Thailand (30 days, reverted from 60 on 21 May 2026, TDAC mandatory online), Malaysia (30 days, through 31 Dec 2026, MDAC mandatory), Indonesia (VoA 30 days + Bali Levy IDR 150k), Sri Lanka (FREE ETA confirmed through 2026), Kazakhstan (14 days), Nepal (unlimited, Aadhaar accepted), Maldives (90 days), Qatar (free 30-day VoA, Discover Qatar portal hotel mandatory), Hong Kong (free PAR, 14-day visits, 6-month multi-entry validity), Macau (30 days). Paid eVisa: Vietnam ($25 single / $50 multi, 90 days), Japan (~₹450 via agency since Sept 2025, NOT free), Taiwan (pre-departure sticker visa OR free TAC if holding US/UK/CA/JP/AU/NZ/KR/Schengen visa + mandatory TWAC arrival card), Turkey, Georgia ($35 + mandatory health insurance ≥30,000 GEL from Jan 2026), UAE (AED 100 + 5% VAT ~₹2,715 VoA only with US/UK/EU/AU/CA visa, else ₹6,500 e-Visa). Egypt requires pre-departure e-Visa. VoA NOT available for Indians. Iran's visa-free SUSPENDED late Nov 2025; Bolivia downgraded to e-Visa in 2026. South Korea needs a sticker visa via KVAC (NOT K-ETA. Indians ineligible). NoMadYa's Visa Compass at /compass has the live list.

Does NoMadYa support multi-country trips like Japan + Taiwan + Korea?

Yes. Pick your primary destination, then click 'Add another country' to add up to 3 more. The AI distributes days proportionally and adds explicit travel/transit days between countries. Visa cost is summed across all destinations.

Can I edit a generated plan after seeing the result?

Two ways: (1) Click ✎ Edit & regenerate to tweak the input params and get a fresh plan; (2) Click ✎ Swap this day inside any expanded day to rewrite just that one day with a new instruction (e.g. 'make it cheaper' or 'move to Hoi An').

How accurate are the INR cost estimates?

They reflect 2026 mid-range prices for the user's origin city (Chennai vs Mumbai vs Delhi all price differently) and include an honesty buffer because Indian travellers tend to under-budget by ~22%. Costs are not affiliate-influenced. The plan ships with a sanity-check pass that flags any unrealistic numbers as warnings.

What's a 'Real Trip' badge?

Plans that Afthab has actually taken get a ✈ FROM A REAL TRIP stamp with the year. These are the canonical references, based on real receipts and on-the-ground notes, not just AI guesswork. The plan still uses the AI Architect for structure, but Afthab manually edits each day with his actual experience.
