Canada Visitor Visa (TRV) is CAD 100 (~₹8,500) + ₹2k VFS fee. Apply at canada.ca/en/immigration; biometrics at VFS Canada in 11 Indian cities. Processing time has improved dramatically in 2025 — the Express CAN visa programme cuts it from 8-12 weeks to 2-4 weeks for clean-profile applicants (no prior refusal, ITR-stable, clear travel history). Mandatory: passport, photo, employer letter, ITR (2 years), bank statement (₹3-4 lakh+ typical), purpose of trip, invitation letter if visiting family. The CAN+ programme (formerly CAN+) gives same-day decisions for Indians who've travelled to Canada/US/UK/Schengen in the last 10 years. 10-year multi-entry is the standard issue.
